What the paid assessment delivers

A Hotel DPDP Readiness Assessment reviews agreed systems, workflows and evidence. Receive hotel-specific gap findings, a scoped data inventory and flow map, and a prioritised roadmap with owners and next steps.

Available as a standalone paid engagement or expressly included within a wider package. Detailed audit, documentation and implementation begin after the scope, fees and payment terms are agreed and the required initial payment is received. Specialist legal advice, conditional statutory audit roles and ongoing reviews are confirmed separately.

Illustrative report format: hotel workflow → evidence reviewed → gap identified → priority → accountable owner → agreed next step. Your findings are based on the systems and evidence within the agreed scope.

From first questions to practical action

Explore five questions that prompt leadership discussion about your hotel’s data practices. This free sample introduces the areas to examine; it does not include a full audit, policy templates, detailed recommendations or implementation instructions.

02 / Paid readiness audit

Agree the scope and proposal. Once the required initial payment is received, we review the agreed systems, workflows, documents and evidence, then deliver hotel-specific findings and a prioritised roadmap.

03 / Scoped implementation support

Commission the implementation work your hotel needs: data mapping, notices, consent and rights-request workflows, vendor and retention controls, security improvements, breach procedures and staff training. Deliverables and payment terms are agreed before work starts.

Prepare for the phased rollout

DPDP commencement is phased. The main processing obligations are scheduled for the eighteen-month phase in May 2027. Existing applicable obligations still need attention today. Readiness should be assessed against the provisions and dates relevant to your hotel.

Framework reference reviewed: 21 October 2026. Readiness support is not a government certification or a guarantee of legal compliance.

Questions hotel teams ask

Is this relevant to an independent hotel?

The review starts with your actual handling of digital personal data, including paper records that are later digitised. Property size alone does not determine the review scope.

Does using a PMS or cloud provider cover our responsibilities?

A supplier’s features and assurances are part of the review. The hotel still needs to understand its own purposes, access, sharing and responsibilities.

Can we commission DPDP readiness on its own?

Yes. DPDP readiness audits and implementation support can be commissioned separately, or expressly included in a wider package. Detailed work starts under the agreed paid engagement. The free five-question starter brief is a sample for leadership discussion.

Have “No” or “Unsure” answers?

Bring your leadership priorities to an introductory discussion. We’ll explain the assessment options and agree the scope and fees in a proposal before paid work starts.
